Every business license fee which is not paid by the due date is delinquent and shall be subject to a penalty of 20 percent of the amount of the license fee. The penalty shall be paid with the license fee before the license is issued. The business council may from time to time adopt a resolution increasing or decreasing the amount of the penalty imposed by this section. [Ord. 05-31-2018-A § 2(4.01.230), 2018.]
