Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce bodily injury or a traumatic condition, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or willfully causes or permits a child’s health to suffer or willfully causes the child to be placed in a situation where his or her health or physical or mental wellbeing may be endangered is in violation of this section.
