(1) Any person who causes the property of the tribe to be taken including the public funds of the tribe by any means is in violation of this section.

(2) Any bribe, gift, payment, or offer of any value to any tribal official or tribal member to gain advantage concerning, or improperly influence, official actions, proceedings, decisions, votes, or opinions in any respect, or receipt, agreement to receive, or request of the same by any tribal official or tribal member, is a violation under this section.
