The officers of the Robinson Rancheria in office at the time of approval of this constitution by the Secretary of the Interior or his authorized representative shall hold office until their successors are duly elected and seated. The first regular election of officials under this constitution shall be held on the second Saturday in June of 1981. At the first election held under this document, the chairperson, the secretary-treasurer and one (1) member at-large shall be elected to hold office for a period of three (3) years; the vice-chairperson and two (2) members-at-large shall be elected for a period of two (2) years. Thereafter, all terms of office shall be for two (2) years and elections shall be held annually on the second Saturday in June. Members shall hold office until their successors are duly elected and installed.
