No license issued pursuant to this chapter shall be transferable. Where a license is issued authorizing a person to transact and carry on a business at a particular location, a licensee may, upon application and payment of a transfer fee, be issued an amended license authorizing the operation of the business the location to which the business is to be moved. The amended license shall only be effective for the balance of the original license period. A new fee shall be due upon the expiration of the original license. [Ord. 05-31-2018-A § 2(4.01.270), 2018.]
