A person shall respond to a citation in one of the following ways:

(1) Pay the fine by submitting cash, cashier check, or money order in the amount of the fine to the tribe within 30 days from the date the citation is served or if the person is a tribal employee or tribal member, then by submitting an authorization to garnish the person’s pay or benefits; or

(2) Request a hearing by completing that portion of the citation form and submitting the request to the tribal court per the instructions on the citation, within 30 days from the issuance of the citation. [Ord. 12-15-2021A § 2.8, 2021.]
