Any person who shall neglect or refuse, when called upon to do so, to aid, or assist an officer of the tribe, or other officer whatsoever, in the arrest or detention of any person being taken into lawful custody, or in securing such offender when apprehended or in conveying such offender to the nearest place of confinement shall be in violation of this section. Failing to cooperate in an officer’s investigation or withholding information from an officer who is engaged in an investigation shall also be a violation of this section.
