(1) A person commits malicious mischief if he or she, without the effective consent of the owner:

(a) Damages or destroys the property of the owner;

(b) Tampers with property of the owner and causes financial loss or substantial inconvenience to the owner or a third person;

(c) Makes markings, including inscriptions, slogans, drawings, or painting on the property of the owner;

(d) Alters, defaces or damages the tribe’s property, which may include a monument, structure or facility, fence, place of worship or burial ground or any other property of the tribe; or

(e) Aids, assists, commands, or counsels another to commit malicious mischief. [Ord. 12-15-2021A § 6.2, 2021.]
