“Commission” means the Robinson Rancheria housing commissioners of the Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians.

“Housing project” (project) means any and all work or undertaking to plan for, provide or make available, construct, repair, rehabilitate, improve, or maintain safe and sanitary housing, whether as individual units or multifamily structures, including all associated real and personal property, infrastructure, utilities, and landscaping, and tangible and intangible assets, whether under conventional, condominiums, or cooperative sales contracts, rental, lease or lease-purchase agreement, loans, or other arrangements.

“NAHASDA” means the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1966.

“Robinson Rancheria citizen’s business council” (business council) means the elected administrative and governing body of the tribe as established and defined by the Constitution of the Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians and tribal custom and tradition.

“Robinson Rancheria housing commission” (commission) means the commission established by the “Robinson Rancheria citizen’s business council” (business council) for the purposes of this chapter.

“Rancheria” means all the lands within the exterior boundaries consisting currently of 939 acres known as Robinson Rancheria and all land subsequently acquired by any means and added to the Rancheria.

“Tribe” means the Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, a federally recognized Indian tribe. [Ord. 15-02 § 3, 2015.]
